Responsible for daily maintenance and repair of equipment and facility.
Responsibilities
Perform PM on all machinery & equipment and makes appropriate entries for record keeping purposes.
Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance.
Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (and some electronic) principles.
Repair of machinery & equipment; to include but not limited to the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Plumbing and Welding.
Fabricate jigs, fixtures and material handling devises as required.
Support Plant Safety Program.
Make minor electrical repairs on machinery, equipment and building electrical supply.
Installation and removal of machinery and equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Apprenticeship program preferred.
Two or more years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Must have knowledge of email and preventative maintenance database systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend.
