Generate revenue by identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities as well as maintaining and building relationships with current customers.
Responsibilities
Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers in their territory with the ability to freelance into other non-protected territories.
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, and logistics teams.
Identify advantages and compare organization’s products/services.
Supply management with oral and written updates on customer contacts, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Participate in trade shows and conventions.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required. College degree in business preferred.
Three to five years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
Overnight travel required up to 50%. Must have valid driver’s license.
Basic computer skills required; Outlook email, Word, Excel.
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally on the telephone and in person.
Must be bilingual – English & French.
