Overview

As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for working with the development teams to create defect free releases for our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Quality and can take on challenge to find every kind of defect across a multi-tiered application with focus in all of the areas below:

Responsibilities

  • Create, Maintain and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for web, mobile and API testing.
  • Develop and implement overall testing strategies and methodologies to ensure high-quality product releases.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Maneuver various network and cloud configurations.
  • Build and monitor automated tests and notify engineering teams of failed test.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Development or Quality Assurance.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum product development methodology and lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience with automation tools and frameworks, with a focus on developing robust automated test suites for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as black box testing, Whitebox testing, performance testing, regression testing, automated testing, UX Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies.
  • Experience working with software QA tools like JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, Tosca, SoapUI, Mocha, Cucumber etc.
  • Basic knowledge of iOS and Android for QA evaluation of mobile applications.
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with in-sprint automation is an added advantage.
