Overview

As a Mobile Tech lead, you'll work closely with the development teams and will be expected to provide input into the architecture and scalability of various components. The tech lead will focus on developing and supporting IOT devices, through cloud technologies in a multi-tier and massively parallel infrastructure. This individual will work with multiple disciplines to develop software that will be integrated and supported throughout the engineering team and across the industry. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-performance, scalable consumer mobile applications for ios and android.
  • Build and maintain SDK’s for embedding into other applications.
  • Work with the Bluetooth stack of all major phone providers.
  • Manage the deployment cycle of mobile applications with Google Play and Apple App Stores.
  • Test and profile code written by yourself and others.
  • Work within an Agile structure to build high-quality, robust features.
  • Contribute to a Scrum team to ensure Quality, Stability and Efficiency of releases.
  • Participate in the planning, analysis, creation and design of iOS and Android applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
  • 3 years of experience of native development for Swift, Kotlin and React Native.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, servers, APIs.
  • Working experience on projects involving IoT integration, data streaming, and sensor connectivity.
  • 3 years of Frontend Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc.
  • 3 years of experience building & publishing iOS and Android apps.
  • 3 years of experience authoring mobile automated tests.
