Overview

Develop and manage top-line revenue for assigned territory, focusing primarily on dealer growth. Collaborate with outside sales team to ensure seamless execution of rolling steel strategies.  To excel in this role, it is essential to build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, fostering trust and confidence.  This position will be expected to engage with dealers, architects, contractors, design-build firms and engineers to boost brand recognition, expand market share and drive business growth across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the promotion of Rolling Steel products and services through dealer networks and market channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to manage key clients and expand business opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows to support business development and networking.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activities, providing insights to leadership.
  • Develop tools and strategies to enhance national account customer experience.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring timely and responsive service.
  • Keep clients informed about new products, pricing, and service updates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer training sessions at all organizational levels.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales training sessions for key clients and industry professionals.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effectively transfer product knowledge and competitive insights to key clients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of rolling steel door types, features, and accessories.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, compliance regulations, and safety codes.
  • Possess knowledge of door installation, maintenance, and technical specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret specifications to create accurate and competitive quotations.
  • Generate timely reports, including forecasts, call reports, and expense reports.
  • Exhibit strong time management, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for efficient workflow management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure CRM software is up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule, including additional hours during peak periods or as needed to meet client needs and business objectives.
  • Willingness to travel 75%, including regional and occasional national trips, as required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • 5+ years of previous work-related experience and knowledge in the rolling steel industry.
  • College Degree (4-year school) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other related computer skills.
  • Strong understanding of the target audience in the assigned territory, including industry needs, customer preferences, and key market trends.
