Overview

Responsible for the employer’s business operations within their specific area.  In this role, the Regional Service Manager is responsible for growing the sales and service in their region by creating and maintaining new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a service budget.
  • Work with Janus HR on employee staffing and organizational growth.
  • Perform all activities and services within established budget guidelines.
  • Work and coordinate with dispatch daily to ensure scheduling is at the highest efficiency.
  • Coordinate technical seminars of training for regional service/installation associates.
  • Assist dispatch in the monitoring of service technicians’ accountability and reporting.
  • Support internal staff, service technicians, customers, and sales staff with technical questions.
  • Execute surprise inspections on local/regional installations/services.
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure they represent and reflect top quality.
  • Provide services with the aim to exceed regional and customer expectations along with attaining company sales and performance targets.
  • Perform management responsibilities of hiring, interviewing, mentoring, training, and developing future management.
  • Plan, assign and direct the work of sales executives
  • Manage local sales staff and organize sales meetings with the ACT sales manager.
  • Appraise performance, reward, and discipline sales employees.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Involve actively in team effort through routine communication with departmental management. Ensure the Service/Sales Department and all its employees comply with all software entry requirements as set out by the senior management team.
  • Review and modify (if needed) all billing in the regional REVIEW INVOICES queue.
  • Moving of invoice from the REVIEW INVOICES queue to the BILL INVOICES queue.
  • Ensure the Service Department fleet is properly maintained, inventoried, and cleaned on a regular basis as directed by fleet management.
  • Ensure CRM software is up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the security industry
  • Minimum 2 years of managing service/sales department
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
