Support users, integration, design, implementation, and administration of the Janus/Asta Configurator.
Responsibilities
Serve as the secondary contact for support of issues and requests submitted by end users of the Configurator.
Troubleshoot encountered user issues.
Monitor Queue Manager error log.
Correct errors in orders originating in the configurator.
Work with affected departments to resolve configurator special requests.
Develop product configurator tools and systems, including specifying, validating, and writing rules.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks, such as the creation and modification of accounts and salespeople.
Create training plans and documentation as it applies to the configurator.
Correct errors in orders originating in the configurator.
Work with the Inventory Control team, as well as other affected departments, on SAGE item creation, router creation, inventory creation, and item maintenance.
Meet with various departments to collaborate on pertinent projects.
Test configurator changes prior to them being pushed to the live environment.
Assist supervisor and co-workers as necessary.
Keep the work area neat and clean.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Two to three years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
2+ years of configurator experience preferred.
Advanced computer knowledge required; Microsoft Office Suite.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
Occasional time may be spent on the shop floor learning about products by demonstration and/or limited hands-on activity.
