Oversee the scheduling and installation of Asta America products and related materials across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
Highly organized with time management skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with customers, installers, vendors, contractors, and internal employees is a must.
Management of Installers ensuring they are installing materials according to the manufacturer’s specifications with the ability to understand multiple different product lines and the installation means and methods.
Ability to manage a high volume of projects concurrently in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Work in conjunction with the estimating team to proactively correct project concerns.
Attend customer's pre-bid and pre-construction meetings as required by ASTA America customers.
Development of scope of work, to include detailed measurements and assessment of the requested work.
Identification & qualification of vendors, as well as contracting and ultimately monitoring installer work performance.
Developing and maintaining schedules of work and forecasts for completion projects within the allotted time frames.
Research and implementation of products, processes, and services for continuous improvements in the delivery of results.
Resolution of minor violations and ordinances and regulations imposed by governmental organizations.
Processing, with approval, to enter purchase orders or process ASTA work orders.
Provide emergency response as requested by ASTA America customers.
Enforce and adhere to appropriate OSHA requirements and ASTA safety policies & processes.
Provide assistance with Estimating, as needed.
Duties other than assigned in support of business needs.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years project management experience.
A minimum of 5 years of multi-unit management experience in construction/facilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction/Business Management or related field preferred or equivalent direct experience.
Experience in the development of scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Possess a customer-centric attitude with the ability to collaborate.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs - Word, Excel, Outlook. Project. Ability to learn new software as needed.
Minimum OSHA 10 certification.
Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
Regularly required to walk around active construction sites and climb stairs and ladders in inclement weather.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
